I’m going to be honest here and say that this makes me at least like him for having integrity.

Also, this makes me think that one of the unsung downsides about poptimism is that it makes us way more okay with treating our artists like whores.

I liked the part where Vernon said, “fuckin’ rock n’ roll should not be decided by people that have [the Grammy bookers’] job. Rock n’ roll should be the fucking people with guitars around their backs. And their friends. And their managers.” So, basically, he wants his business people to call the shots, not theirs. Punk as fuck!
