So ready for Breaking Bad.

I’m sorry, is that a blue lagoon? In college my friends and I used to have these cocktail parties, where you would bring the booze and a mixer and then get amazingly drunk and get 99 cent pizza at 3 a.m. because it is Montréal and they know how to live there. That said, after one particular evening, I can no longer be in the same room with this drink. The Blue Lagoon and the Fuzzy Navel, both dead to me still all these years later. Be careful kids.

It’s a bit different. The site I found it on called it Blue Ice, which I guess was what sold me on it. There’s lime juice instead of pineapple, which means it’s not disgustingly sweet. That said, this is my first encounter with blue Curacao since probably college, and the drink definitely doesn’t stack up to my Mad Men (generally rye-based) or True Blood (Southern stuff like mint juleps) cocktails.
